Hard Rock Hyde Park 2009

Hard Rock Calling is an recognized London open air music event which showcases well known international acts, and a few tradition over two days, and has a real festival sense to it.

The dates for the three days of Hard Rock Calling 2009 are confirmed as Friday 26th until Sunday 28th June with gates expected to open at 1pm, the music starting at 3pm, and ending at approximately 10:30pm on all three days.

The Killers caption the Friday night with support from The Kooks, Neil Young will headline the Saturday night and will be joined on the bill by Fleet Foxes, Ben Harper & Relentless7, Seasick Steve, and The Pretenders. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will starring on Sunday 28th June, with support from Dave Matthews Band, and The Gaslight Anthem.

how can we get Hard Rock Calling

Normal services will operate on all lines except onthe Central line, where there will be no train servicebetween Loughton and Epping. Special railreplacement buses will operate instead.There will be no service on the Waterloo & City line.Tube stations will be open as on a normal Saturday,with the following exceptions:Hyde Park Corner, Lancaster Gate andMarble Arch: There will be no entry to thesestations from the end of the concert.Queensway: The station is closed forrefurbishment works until May 2006.Other stations near to Hyde Park:Baker Street, Bayswater, Bond Street, Green Park,High Street Kensington, Knightsbridge, Maryleboneand Victoria.

Hard Rock Calling - Timings

Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young will begin the shows for the weekend, gates will open at 12:45, with the music starting at 13:45. We are planned to end at about 22:30 on both days.

For the Friday show The Killers gates will initiate at 14:30, with the music begin at 16:00. We are listed to end at just about 22:30.

Set times will not be available until the week of the event. There will be no again admission to the event should you leave at any time during the day.

Hard Rock Calling 2009

It has been confirmed that Hard Rock Calling will return to Hyde Park in 2009, over the 26th, 27th and 28th June. For the first time it is a three day event, beginning on the Friday rather than a Saturday.

Hard Rock Calling - Hyde Park

Hard Rock Calling is formerly called Hyde Park Calling. It is a music festival in Hyde Park, London, which was first held on Saturday July 1 and Sunday July 2, 2006. It was in the North East end of Hyde Park, with the main doorway being at Hyde Park Corner. The music take part in is mainly rock music. It was organised by Hard Rock Cafe and Live Nation. Due to its success, it has been announced that for at least the near future, it would be an annual event.
